So I keep reading about how every account on the same IP can be tracked and if you have a gameban your account will be banned, what if your on a public network? Such as a Campus wifi or Dorms Wifi? If someone was banned years ago in the same campus would you also be banned as well?

So basically anyone living in university or some other residential wifi would just be banned? Is there any way they can see that your living on a residential IP? or appeal?

Hello,

To address this issue, you can consult with a server admin or use a VPN. However, it's worth noting that EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) can interfere with your VPN if an EAC developer wishes it to happen. This could result in a ban if another person has been banned or received a VAC ban on the network. The best option would be to use a modem router to connect through a physical VPN or to easily change your IP address. Asus offers excellent solutions in this regard.

As a last resort, you can consider a 4G/5G modem router.
