So i got my lambdaconcept DMA.. i got a new custom firmware flashed to it. went through all the steps that the provider gave to me.. everything looked good then i unplugged the usb c cord out of the DMA update port and plugged it into the data port before I turned off the pc.... out of excitement i forgot.
Now my DMA isn't receiving power from the PCIE slot and i have one other slot and it also wont provide power to the DMA.. did i fry it or is there a setting somewhere that would be able to fix it without having to replace either my motherboard or the DMA

as long as DMA is not removed or installed directly from the PCIe slot while the computer is turned on, there should be no issues.
Based on your description, you simply switched the data cable from JTAG to the DATA port. This operation is not a problem when the device is powered on, unless you did not secure the DMA with screws when installing it, causing the DMA to become loose and short-circuit when plugging and unplugging the data cable.
There is another possibility, which is that the firmware is incorrect. You can try re-flashing the default firmware for DMA
