Is this evidence of a ban?

I was helping a friend set up his cheats for MW3 from PO. He doesn’t know much about computers so I was helping him with the injection process.

One time, he failed to inject before opening the game, and when he loaded it up, the game wouldn’t make it past the intro screen before crashing. After closing the game and reinjecting, the game would still crash repeatedly.

Is he screwed? Is this evidence of a ban, whether that be account or HWID?

No.

Either reinstall the game or run the repair too via the battle.net launcher.

He has the game on Steam, but I will tell him to try it. Thank you!

Also try loading without any cheats then go into settings. The cheat I use won’t work if frame generation is on and did the same when I accidentally turned frame generation on. So make sure you’re using dlss or fidelityfxcas. Then totally close game and steam. Reload cheat and try again
