A programmer beginner looking for advise

Hey everyone,

I'm a 19-year-old gamer who's been hooked on conquering games for a while now. I've got a ton of passion and time on my hands, and I'm itching to dive into the world of creating auto-hunt bots for this game. But here's the thing—I'm on the lookout for a mentor to give me a kickstart in this field. I'm ready to commit 3-4 months to learning the ropes.

So, what programming language should I go for? And where's the best place to start learning?

Alternatively, if there's a mentor out there willing to show me the ropes, I'm all ears. And hey, the first bot we launch together will be credited to you. Plus, if it's a hit in the market, you'll get your share of the financial pie.

Thanks a bunch for your time and support!

Hey there, so to recap: you're requesting someone spend 3-4 months of their time teaching you and helping you make a retail bot for a percentage of profits that come from it? A follow up question: why would they need you and share profits with you in the first place? Aka. what is the value you hope to provide there?

Generally though, making a retail bot is very complicated and (to my understanding at least) requires a lot of reverse engineering and prior knowledge in the anticheat systems (which have also changed a lot since the last successful bots were advertised here). And once you have a bot, they'll constantly change the anticheat very quickly and leave you fighting for any uptime. I don't think that's something most qualified people want to deal with. I think it's safe to say that this request is pretty dead on arrival - especially if they also have to spend time teaching you at the same time.

Edit: There are proxies and memory based bots you can download and play around with if you're curious about how they work, but I wouldn't run any of them on the retail client. You'll get banned for sure with them. You can always play around with them on private servers. Most good servers will check for them, though.

Hey,

Got it, thanks for the insight. So, to clarify, I'm on the lookout for someone to teach me the language part, while I take charge of building the bot. And yeah, I'm aware making a retail bot is tricky business, especially with anticheat systems.

Also I have seen some bots that work without "injection" to be less detectable

As well as on a side note, if the above don't work.

I'm willing to pay monthly fee for a working auto hunt bot with multiclient.

Example for the bot I was refering to here :

Which I believe it's not the hardest one out there but it does the job.
