Question about external chair

I’m currently using a private external chair. So far it has never been detected. My question is, if it ever becomes detected and I find out before I launch it will I still be banned for using it in the past? Can they tell if you have used something in the past or do you need to be caught using it after it’s detectable.

If I stopped using that particular service today, and it gets detected next week or next month will I still get banned?

This would be a very situation dependent thing, often times anticheats are detecting a product weeks leading up to the actual detection. If you stopped cheating today and weren't banned after a month, then you are most likely in the clear.

Most anticheat updates (unless to fix a major exploit) don't kick in right away, they cast their nets out and try to catch as many fish as they can before reeling in the net.

This varies from game to game and anticheat to anicheat as well.

Ohh ok. That makes sense. So I guess there’s no way to get around detection, if that particular one ends up being detected. It seems like a smaller private unknown one. But then again I don’t know if this discord is just reselling a more popular one under a different name. It’s got aim, radar and esp. but the aim is more of a legit one like extra strong aim assist. Not rage.

The cheat you were using could be detected now. You said you only used it for a week. Ricochet delays bans by weeks & may not send bans at all until a particular cheat has a higher number of users. It's possible that your "private external" was detected all along & the bans come later

The best thing for you to do would be to just stop using it & hope for the best. Stick to reputable providers that have proven their opsec & security can stand against Activision/Ricochet at a large scale

Most big p2c developers you see today started in groups with friends & the difference between us & our friends is that our friends started little pasted "private" providers on Discord while we dreamed bigger. I'd recommend you stay out of that space. It's full of scams
