Not target Boss ID | Heroes config.

Hello,

I haven't used bots under GW. I have a very specific question for those of you who have already coded one or more bots.

As part of a performance I'd like to do (maybe, one day...) is it possible, with heroes in combat mode (in Fight or Guard position), to order them NOT to target a Boss, i.e. a unique monster ID? And by extrapolation, to target or simply attack all other targets encountered?

Thank you for your help and answers on this subject. :)

yes, thats possible and quite easy to achieve. you could set heroes to to "aggressive". and scan for surrounding enemies, pinging the enemies by modelID, thus excluding the boss

you will need to check if the pinged target still exists and is not dead, to make sure you ping the next target. do this until the number of foes in range of an agent/ coord is = 1 and the boss should be the only remaining enemy

make sure to have as few little as possible aoe effects, to have no/few sprits (SOS) or place them out of range of the boss and to not have dmg spells on your healers/ hybrid heroes, which wont be on "agressive" otherwise they will behave weirdly and will mindlessly run in (atleast if they wield melee weapons)...

Thank you for your reply.

I'm not going to ask you how to create a bot under GW here, i can investigate in order to find out.

Instead of creating a bot to include all the desired functions to get the desired result... Can i create a bot with a single function, avoiding a very specific boss ID (target) that can appear and disappear at certain times (Fendi Nin, soul version, during 30 sec cycles, to be precise).

That's the only function i need, the rest they can do themselves with the in-game functions.
