I made a mistake...

So how does getting banned in Tarkov work?

I only wanted to legit cheat for ESP but I had a task to kill bot scavs so I used aim bot to speed it up, but after i finished the task I ran into a player and didn't realize the aimbot was still on.

He was sniping me from around 100 Meters and i one tapped him with an Ak74U

I'm 100% sure he probably reported me immediately.

Is my account basically gone?

No. Nobody will review an account based on 1 report.

Legit cheat means a cheat that is geared toward appearing legit... no silent aim... maybe a crappy aimbot at best... esp oriented.. maybe recoil control

You will be fine most likely, I have done a lot worse while playing xD
