EP5 Armor Files (Shaiya Dev Group)

Using the Extracter for EP4 i posted earlier in the section [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] you would know that you can extract all the files.... Including the texture and model files.

If you have extracted the files then you will see a folder named "Character"
Inside this fiolder are 4 more folders "DeathEater" "Elf" "Human" And "Vile"
The textures i have uploaded are organized like these. just copy and paste the files to there appropriate location :) and there you have it EP5 Armors.... (Will work with US Client but only visible by you)

do u overwrite any existing armors with that?

dont i need to edit anythin in the database to implement this shiny stuff?

nope just extract data.saf and the overwrite the extracted files with the files i provided then use the re-combiner and add to thet shaiya directory and start the game. new armors will be daynorth, ohgerton, ophiston.. and so forth.... i am working on new weapons as well...

So wait, this is a visual trick overwriting the files in data.saf, right? Interesting idea.

It overwrites the armors like Treffers, right?

I decided to edit it a little and make hermit armor into the 70 armor for fun. xD

lol.... and once i get the newest files i can indeed upload the data files and game.exe to go with it i just have to wait for the new files to come out

You needn't overwrite any files. The ones posted here have different names. It might not be so for helmets as the EP5 ones were included in OS EP4.

No. It's not really a visual trick. To make Ohgerton or Treffers look like EP5 armour you need to do more. Edit Item.SData for starters, know the exact value for the model/texture pair, include them in your client ... that's only beginning.

Didn't really seem as complex as you claimed. It just a matter of digging through the client files, and swapping/replacing some file names.

But I could see where adding them as separate items would be a harder matter.

Nah, just underneath the mount.

I haven't been able to find a fix for it, I made a topic for what I did a while ago. However, I suppose I will ask here.


Anybody have a clue on how I can fix that? xD
