If you only use ESP then it makes you safer, as it is less obvious. Avoid aiming at people through walls (because you aren't supposed to know they are there). You want to act like you don't have an ESP, make it as little obvious as possible. Additionally, just because you see players on the map, doesn't mean they all have to die. Make sure your survival rate is close to one of a normal player (I'd stick around 50%, but it might be too careful, you will probably get away with more and I believe I mostly stay up higher). Make sure you don't have too many survives in a row and knock your KDA down from time to time, couple death runs in factory or some other map with a shitty gun are enough. Generally it boils down to "use your brain".
As far as spoofers go, there are more knowledgeable people here who will soon respond and there isn't a general consensus on what you should do.
There are three forms of a ban. Purely account ban, disk HWID ban and launcher ban. In this order they go from easy to get around all the way to hard to get around.
I'll let the other guys go more in detail on these if they'd want to, but if you don't rage cheat (make it obvious with toggling most options and killing everyone suspiciously) and stick to trying to make it as legit as possible, you are very safe. It is never 100% safe, but sticking to what I mentioned is as close to 100% safe as you can get.
