Hej everybody,

I was trying to make a private server.
Now I got it all to work.
The only issue is I made the server in oracle virtual box, but now I can’t login from my main pc when I start up the launcher is says server is undergoing inspection…
I did the ipinput with the ip of the virtual machine also tried my main ip adress but that also didn’t work.

Greetings, Maxim

Hey there!

I am no expert, but I'll try to help out here.

- Make sure your IPV4 IP from the Oracle server it's actually the one used in your configuration. Review each .cfg file on your server, and double check that the IP matches your IP from ipconfig.
- Confirm how is your Oracle VM configured; Network could be configured that no external access is allowed.
- Try disabling the firewall on your Oracle VM and try again?
- Search on Google to see what others did when experiencing the inspection error; it could be totally related to another issue.

I hope this helps! Best.

Hi,
I have a test server on my QNAP in Virtualization Station on Windows Server 2019.

What I would check:
1. Disable Firewall and check if you can connect. Maybe not all Ports are open.
2. Check if you created a TCP Forward for the Ports which are needed to your VM in Virtual Box to the correct VM.
3. If I understood you correct your services are running but you can not connect so what happens if you try to open the billing website from you PC with IP-Address and correct Port?
4. Check your SMC ServerControl that all is green (started) otherwise right click on it and start Common and Shard)
5. Right click on Shard and check that Change Service Type equals Operating

Hope one of this can help you =)

If it has the same ip as your main machine (wich i assume) you can only launch it with the edxloader

What I ment is the have to disable the Firewall on the VM not on main PC.
I think he can connect without edxloader because the have different IPs. Same like me because my qnap has one static IP and the vm use the Net adapter from the qnap with another IP and I can connect from all PCs in my network.
