How to get a new IP

I am not that experienced when it comes to changing my IP but due to a recent ban in Rust I would love to change my current IP.

When putting "ipconfig" into cmd my current IP is ***.***.178.60 and I've already got to the point of changing it to ***.***.178.81. Does this count as a whole new IP?

When searching for "My IP" in Google, the results are different tho and it shows a complete different IPv4 and IPv6.

Which is the IP that Rust bans?

If IP's cannot be changed like that, which VPN provider would you guys recommend? Is it true that only Residential IP VPN unblock all servers?

No ip Config doesn’t work, you need to call your isp to change your ISP, unless your router is dynamic. Just simply restart your router it should change.

Listen to Relentless, I'd also stay far away from VPNs unless you have no other way of changing your IP.

Windows Key -> cmd -> ipconfig /all -> look for "DHCP Enabled" If "Yes" then it's dynamic.

If you do not have one of the routers that change IP after a restart then you could simply unplug your modem for however long your ISP's IP lease time is, then eventually you would get assigned a new IP.

Lease time from my provider is 24 hours from what I‘ve read. Having no internet for 24 hours is definitely not an option in my household. I sadly don’t have a dynamic connection and therefore this isn’t a possibility either. I would be down to just spend the money and buy a new router with mac spoofing but I‘ve read that mac spoofing isn‘t possible in Germany, due to the fact that the mac address is assigned by your ISP and only that mac address works. So from my pov I have no other option that buying a VPN.

Make sure to buy a residential VPN.
