You've tried everything the site provides?
I highly doubt that.

Please write every step that you have done along with your OS, that way we can pin-point the problem much more quickly.

there is guides here telling you how to do this most likely you need to update your host file and maybe you might need to do it every single time before you login i know i had to do that with the previous patch so keep looking and reading there is no need to keep posting the same info over and over again when its already here.

1. I had Installed the client.
2. At first it didnt patch but when I hit run as administrator, it started patching. It patches every time I log in. Is it normal? Anyways my OS is Vista.
3. I used the Hefei fix and had a few problems with that as i could not replace the original NINEDRAGONS.exe because it came with an error. "Could not delete file, Access denied" or something like that even though i have the permissions and I am administrator.
4. Did the english patch.

Now I also tried allowing it through windows firewall, but... it freezes as soon as I even ENTER the firewall properties. -_-

Some things I have not yet considered. Would possible port forwarding work?

I mean, it could make sense. If its not connecting to the server list, it would have something to do with the connection right? If not, im not sure what else I should do. I have looked at alot of the threads on how to install and all that but still doesnt retrieve the server list. :P

Ok. What I just did is I let everything update. So reset everything and start again is the best way to go i guess. But it came up with this just after downloading the NINEDRAGONS.exe.

"Tu dong nang cap phien ban 73 that bai."
"Vui long bam vao nut thu lai de tiep tuc."

Which translates to (according to google translate):

"Automatically upgrade version 73 failed."
"Please click on the button to continue recording."

I dont know what happened? What button?

Another screenie (has been edited to show translation)

Please help.

Thanks

No need for port forwarding.

Seems like you missed configuring your host file.
  • Click Start, search 'Notepad'
  • Right click the 'Notepad' program and choose 'Run as administrator'
  • Click Continue on the UAC prompt
  • Click File and then Open
  • Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
  • Change the file filter drop down box to All Files (*.*)
  • Select hosts and click 'Open'
  • Now you can edit the host file
Add this line: 127.0.0.1 localhost-9dvn

Actually I had a few more lines. :P These were copied off a thread a while ago. A guy posting them saying that they worked for him. >_< Just looking for what works.

Does that look right Jase? P.S I know your going to ask wtf is the bardo line for. I dont have an answer as it was copied. >_<

Watch the double posting mate!
That looks fine, bugger knows what the Bardo line is for, it wouldn't matter if it was there or not.
Did that work anyway?

Sorry for double posting. My bad >_<

No, unfortunately it still doesnt work.

I DID read something in a thread relating to the error. Please review this post. I have attached a SS of the thread for you to view. Should I have 9Disciple running?

Thanks. P.S Ill be heading off now. I will continue to try and find out whats going on. >< Thanks for the info so far.

any1 can send us his ndlauncher?:/
or a download link for 9d VN?(a good one ^^)

tnx!

Okay Mate I'm done here, I thought you would of known that at least you should of been running 9Disciple or any other hack to work with the patched version of ninedragons.exe, you missed alot of reading didn't you, of course you should be running 9Disciple or any other hack.
The hacks have the appropriate IP addresses to connect to the server, hence why your directing the domain login.cuulong.com.vn to a local IP 127.0.0.1 in your host file.

Good Luck!

*Supawang remove the line ::1 and then 127.0.0.1 localhost,127.0.0.1 login.cuulong.zing.vn,127.0.0.1 localhost-9d-bardo (all that to remove i mentioned are under that 127.0.0.1 advert.runescape.com)keep 127.0.0.1 localhost-9dvn
