i stopped playing few years ago(best decision). i enjoyed the competive aspect of the game(top 100 ranking and also getting maybe general or something).
is there any similar out there?
all this private server are kinda terrible
the only good ones are probably (pink galaxy but the admin has some serious mental issues) and waruniverse (closest 1 so far) but lacks the updates ( playing in group is pointiless there).

wonder why no one from the old bot creators havent made a good darkorbit clone with their skills ( ink for example).

It's going to be a PvP/PvE server based on the 2010/2011 client. No LF-4. No Apis. No Zeus. No P.E.T. No Skill Designs.

Some of those may get added in the future but the initial state will be without a lot of those updates. We're also trying our best to avoid Flash at all costs. At this moment the only time you can't use your browser is when you load into the map. You'll need to install our client which is just a browser with flash enabled.

Would be interesting to RE-live the goods and bads DO brought to us through some years futurely ^^

Atleast we would know what is to come... for example, "hmm, soon they're gonna add this stuff like DO did at xx-xx-xxxx, let me save some uri" :kappa:

Well, for one creating bots isn't illegal but breaking copyright laws on the other hand... When you get older and try to build a career with your skills it's often not worth getting into legal trouble for a passion project.

And it being a passion project is another hindrance. You'll usually want to have a team of other talented people so you can share the amount of work, and it's a lot of work if you try to do everything in a modern, clean and polished way. So having people that you can trust, are skilled in their areas of expertise and are willing to work for free for the time being makes it quite hard to even begin such a project.

I don't know if you intentionaly didn't mention Space Age or you don't know about it. I believe it is THE best pserver. It is less popular because it is younger and based on 2009 dark orbit. Here's a quick preview

PinkGalaxy, the place where the top clan rules (cause the active community, is small), the place you'll take 5x longer to get UFE if you do not buy premium through months, over and over again, the place the PVP mechanics are so fkd up that if you're a PVP lover, you will insta quit. The place some got better equipment cause they played longer.

Man, you're changing your mind about PG more often than your underpants.
First you write me privately in discord and support me that PG is great and i do good, write good stuff in EPVP, even recommend it to new players asking where to play, then I don't write you back once, and you instantly change your mind and write bad about PG :rolleyes:

And why is PVP fked up, maybe if you tell exactly why its fked up instead of just in general saying its fked up i can improve stuff ^^

The blackmarket is made for the same reason it does exist on Official DO, the community size doesn't matter, if people doesn't care if they will get punished for breaking the rules, it isn't of mine or your concern.

People already tried to explain why they'd rather quit your server cause the PvP is mechanically bad, if you didn't wanted to listen to them (including myself) over the years, it is not of my concern. Find out the solution urself. If you want your server to be fully PvE and toxic tracking + camping + 24/7 broken mind trashtalking in ur chat without punishment (cause that's PvE server's fate, instead of playing for fun, people just start to play as a duty to stop their enemies from having fun... it's kinda mad how people behave there, how people became mental is not ur fault, but doing nothing about it, then it's ur fault), it's not of my consern aswell.

I have just wrote in my past post what i actually think of PG like hundred of other users do. You could just ignore it like you usually do with them, but nah, let's write about how mentally broken and how hardly wrong "I" am...

It's sad how PG community has been mentally corrupted by a PC game, i hope whoever starts playing there, realise as fast as possible that fact before hardly diving into that longterm brainwash Pserver.

But now honestly dude, if i ever write my opinion about PG again, do not tag my post, people will start thinking we're lovers. arghh... im not homo mate.
