Detection Of Cheat

Hello, I am new to the cheating scene and still am yet to buy my first cheat due to a few concerns. I am aware that cheats at anytime may go detected and for this reason alone I am sceptical. I would like to know that if a cheat that I may be using on an ALT accounts gets detected will my account that hasn't ran the cheat still get banned. I guess what I am trying to ask is will all my EFT accounts be banned in the result of a detection or will it just be the one running the cheats.
