ePvp Safe Mark

isn't it handy to make a ePvp Safe Mark logo,
so only one mod or something have to look if the program is trustable
or so, and give it a number.

Like, an only mod, admin forum with only numbers as topic titles and in the topic the name of the program.
to see if the logo id real, you simple search the number that is written under the logo!?

i hope someone understand my crappy english
and i hope this is a good idea....

i understand ur idea and im very happy about that. in case we only need to find a simple and unfakeable routine to make programs "trusted by e*pvp".

yes, i mean the first one gets 000001 and the second 000002 and so on, or an other value like A001, we can make a forum for this, or we need a good php programmer. :) infact this isn't hard to program.

There is no need todo that, since every thread & post in this forum gets a unique ID
so we just take that one. As example, this threads one is 18047. But I think there is no need for that since everything that has been pinned is approved.

yeah ok, but somewhere must be stored that its safe.
so the users can search for the number.
just to check if the Safe Mark is right.
And if the number does not exist, or belongs to an other program.
we already know that the maker try's to fool us.

If it's just for us then your last point doesen't make much sense, because regular users dont have the rights to pinup a thread, only moderators can. So they can't also fake new releases. And if the file is malicious it won't even get pinned, it will be deleted so this is stupid except we would had a database containing the stuff & latest versions.
