Is YouTube shutting down cheat channels?

07/29/2023 20:08 NoRecoil123#1
Hello everyone, yesterday YouTube closed my channel with 2k subs and +100k views. My channel was about cheats for fivem and other games, and I always left the link to my Discord server in the description. YouTube closed my channel for "spam, deceptive practices, and scams."

I didn't understand why, and my appeal was rejected. Since there are many channels about game cheats, I wanted to ask if anyone can give me advice on how to prevent this from happening again and continue uploading this type of content.

I await your responses.

In the future this will be a main reason, yes. And this is good. Cheating has no future. It is a old grandpa.

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] Yes they do if you get enough reports or your IP, Browser, Links or Video Content is flagged.

You can ask for another review to lift the ban but that request will 99% get denied. Just start over and remember to change the stuff above.

You can try to not use links, maybe that gets you less flagged. Other than that no, probably with an aged account and if you dont get a lot of reports.

It helps but there is always the risk to get banned. Also dont use some random sms receive service to verify the gmail/yt account.

Most media sites do not allow this content

I have same problem, I used the name "Bot" instead of "Hack or Cheat" and still shut down
its RNG who will review the video, or maybe its automatic -> gets enough reports -> video will get removed
I havent found a way to avoid that
but at this point youtube seems utterly stupid as you can claim other people videos for copyright, even when they do not belong to you and Ive won copyright claims against big companies like Gameforge and Koggames so yeah - Youtube is just bad and their staff team but maybe you can use that to your advantage

maybe other players complained about you

Not really true. Most sites don't care about if you cheat in a game or don't.

Specially Youtube never cared about it. They are only getting active because a Developer sends a DMCA claim.

Does not matter, as youtube is 99% moderated by Bots (based on my own experience).
You can have an aged youtube account with no videos on it, and still take other videos down, if you choose the DMCA/Copyright claim.

When your Youtube channel was not flagged before, then the DMCA/Copyright claim will get through.

Youtube does not care for small youtubers, they only care for big youtubers who have YT Partner.

And there is no way to reach youtube support if you are a small youtuber. You can not even contact them, you will only get Bot replies from them.
