I’ll try to keep this short
I’ve been HWID banned in the past. Workout around with either raid0 or changing drives since I had spares. A year ago I decided to play clean, got a new drive, fresh clean install etc. I played for awhile with no issues. I eventually got bored of the game and decided to sell the account, sold it on playerauction. I have since kept the launcher installed etc, mind you this pc has had no issues with bans since I started to play clean. A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to start playing again, I logged into the launcher with a throw away account that was clean. The launcher has let me log in countless times since. Up until this morning I decided to purchase the game. As soon as I bought the game and relogged I was met with account blocked 229 and a quick refresh on the website showed banned. I was pretty pissed to say the least. So I made a new email, paid with a different payment method and was met with the same message after reinstalling the launcher and trying to log in. I’m aware I should have fresh installed and cleaned the drive fully before trying again but I was impatient. Overall I’m confused as to why I was launched banned or even manually banned(not sure the difference) no email btw. Maybe selling my account got me flagged, maybe he cheated and it went back to my own hardware as well idk.
Im just aware that I can’t even get into the launcher. As I’ve said, I’ve worked around an EA van before pretty easily. But so far from what I’ve seen this could prove a bit more difficult or at least take some more work. Replacing hard drives, mobo etc is feasible and I’d rather not resort to a spoofer since I plan to play clean. Any advice on steps to take would be greatly appreciated. I’d love to get back before wipe!
