[Request] Super-Multi-Client of Sorts

I don't know how hard this would be to do...

But I'm looking for a way to have 10-12 games up, but not have them sucking up all my CPU.

All I want the games to do is make sure the server thinks my chars are logged in, I don't need to be able to use any of the games past logging in a char into them.

Right now, having 4 games up slows my computer to hell, because each one is fully operational. Each game is doing all the graphics crap, who needs it.

This is kinda similar to gold farmers, having a billion games on 1 computer, but I don't need any of the games to even do anything, they just need to keep a character logged in. If there's some way to keep a bunch of characters logged in without even needing games for them, even better.

I'd be willing to pay a bit for something that would help me do this.

If its not possible I'll live, but it would be very nice to have. ^^

If you need any specific info with regards to what I want, just pm me questions. Thanks!

Edit : All the characters have to be see-able, if u know what i mean. Not invisible-online, but see-able-online. o.o

recreating the whole client into a clientless bot which you can controll by one client.

Im currently working on a multi client tool that lets us controll many clients with just 1 client eg they all do the same thing. Such as if i click somewhere they all walk there or if i attack something they all attack it.
Unrealted of course.

What your wanting made would take quite a while to make maybe longer than a private server...

As it needs to emulate the game comunications wise completly.

Another way would be to turn on and off the rendering of the game.
You could of course get another computer or several or only run the game twice or so.

if something were made similar to Open Kore but for 12sky2 it would be pretty win.

As I said, I have no idea if there are any practical, easy workarounds.

I had a random idea.

When you load up the launcher, you can choose window mode, right? But when u click that, you can't change the 1024 X 768.

I wonder if the size is locked at that, but the client is capable of windowing at something like 100 X 100, or if the numbers are only there to show what the only window size is (programmed at only one size) and unchangeable period.

Because if it was locked for whatever reason, if you bypassed that and could have a bunch of 100 x 100 games, I wonder if that would be easier on the computer?

Just thinking out loud from the perspective of a guy who knows nothing lol.

well yes that would actually work in a way. and its possible to have them at 100x100x however the render'er is still at 1024,768? so like you only see part of the screen *usally the center* try running TwelveSky2.exe with these paramaters /0/US/2/1024/768 for window mode 1024 768 or this for 100 by 100 /0/US/2/100/100

Could you post your RAM, processor, and video card specs please?

Only thing with that is, likely you wouldnt be able to move around what you would see, so even if u could click on the servers, you wouldn't be able to click start at the character selection screen (as it's way off to the right).

Unless there's a way to log in characters without needing to manually click on things. Once they're online I don't give a damn what they see, i just want them online lol.

And I don't understand where to enter the parameters. If I was good with this kind of stuff I wouldn't need to post to ask. :P

And @ hafus.

2 gigs ram
Intel(R) Core Duo CPU - T2450 @ 2.00GHz
Video Card? = 224 MB Intel GMA 950

3 year old laptop, and it wasn't great even back in the day lol.

lol learn some computer stuff... paramaters can be entered by batch file or shortcut.

And heads up it looks like this guy is just mooching to get us to do the work to setup gold bots for him tbh. If hes not then im sorry for wrongfully accusing him but it does look that way :)

If you want a clientless bot then do some reasearch on games and networking and learn to use wpe pro to collect and analyse packets.
