So, in an effort to keep this on-topic and not just be a request thread... someone could reverse engineer the client. It's really not that hard to do if you have the right tooling. I have a thread on the internet somewhere about it if you search "spirited reverse engineering conquer". It's something I really encourage people learn how to do more. It can sound intimidating at first, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes.

Most people I've seen just import the models from other games / newer patches, or recolor / retexture existing ones. Are you having a hard time with the retexturing part?

Yeah, don't think I'll dig that far except if someone extracts the cipher key from the client.

C3 files are not encrypted, but indeed, the DDS ones seem to be. The key / IV (if any) seems to be the same for all files as they have all the same pattern at the beginning for DDS files. If it is indeed based on Ulti's work, having the AES key would probably be enough for me to dig further on this, but I won't extract it myself. I have no need, nor interest for these garments, and the DLL that likely holds it is protected (with Themida).

I beg to differ but the only thing that would promote is leechers to steal content.

Yeah, I'm not huge on people stealing content from other servers either. If it's not their content to begin with, then fine. But if it's actual custom stuff, then don't be that person. I know a lot of people see Conquer Online private servers as a business, but it is supposed to be a community. We'll never get there, but would be nice if more people thought in that way.

You are so right, I hope people apply these thoughts not only online but also in real life.

I don't think you have the right to speak here, as you are trying to make money by trying to code aimbot / speedhack / autohunt on other servers. As you said "Leech"

c3 kinda complicated but you can do it

That isn't leeching. What OP was asking was for a tool to extract garments from a protected wdf from X server to add on his own. The reason it is protected is to avoid other stealing there personal work.

I'd agree if it was a reputable server :p From what I've seen, these servers all have stealed content from each other, and now use a protection based on stealed code from Ulti (from what I understand). So, I'm not too fussed if someone release a tool to extract that. Let's the leechers leech from each others...

and this is why the community doesn't share anymore, the whole purpose of the extra layer of encryption was to stop people stealing assets from private servers, the protection was given to like 2 people, not going to mention names, and now everyone seems to have it lol.

Idk. Don't let me tell you how you should feel about it, because I'm pretty sure it's your work and I know you generally prefer small, private groups over public releases. But if I were the author, then I wouldn't have a problem with sharing code that encrypts assets. Because if it were open-source, then more servers could use and remix it to obfuscate their work as well, which seems like a big positive to me. I'm always a fan of public tooling that enables others to do better, more creative work safely.

Maybe there's a compromise somewhere in there though... like, I would absolutely love if the community picked a patch like 5017 and made an open-source reverse engineering project. That way, people could more easily make their own detours and edits (like myself, who generally doesn't have the time to start an effort like that). Just food for thought. I'm more or less just rambling now. Lol

This looks great, is this tool available?

Yep... Sad thing is that there is a subset of the community that could probably still share / work together, but too many have bad experiences sharing...
