What to use ?

i was wanting to know what is better to use the autohotkeys or the autoit

If those are your only two options you are willing to work with... then go take a look at both of them. From what I understand, they are very similar in functionality, as I believe autohotkey is originally based off of some source of autoit.

If you are truly open minded though, on programming, and are just naming two languages you have heard of, then I would suggest looking into C#. There are plenty of tutorials available here on the forums specifically dealing with the conquer related tasks you might need. It is also much more powerful of a language.

well i got visual C# 2008 and Visual Basic 2008 and Visual Basic 6 on my computer and i was just wondering about them b/c most of the bots i see are coded in either autoit or autohotkeys

Just pick one and run with it.

You can make a bot with anything. Autoit and AutoHotKeys will be a lot simpler to learn than C#. C# will have a lot more functionality and customization, though.

It is a trade-off, and there are plenty of tutorials out there for whatever you choose.
