Most shitty vpns won't even let you join on servers like rustafied. You would need a residential proxy. And, that's only if you have static ip address, you have dynamic ip, you won't need anything, just restart your router and you're good to go.

I would recommend using a VPN in the first place so you don't get your real IP banned if you get server banned, however, if you are already server banned you should use a VPN. For some servers like rustified, stevious, bloo lagon, etc you'll need a residential proxy to bypass their VPN blocks.
