Yes, it does, but also works if you reinstall only windows which is the C drive, you can leave the rest like they are. There is a documentation and instructions how to use the program, the only annoying thing is the windows reinstall.

To answer now your question, yes, if you had van 152 then you will need to flash the bios as there is no other option to bypass it.
