[Pulse] Looking for the Chinese Eudemons Alpha Client

Hey there!

I'm a dev from the Conquer Online community, if you don't know me.

As the title says, I'm looking for the old Chinese alpha client for Eudemons. Would be a big help to testing the old, leaked EO client source. I'm also looking to help collect and mirror some of the old English Eudemons clients, so if you have any that you'd like to send my way, then please do. Thanks!

Thanks! I've downloaded them. The first one looks helpful, seems to be version 1023 and not modified? The second one... I'm not sure about. Looks to be modified. I can't tell if that's version 1000 or just what they modified. Maybe you can help confirm the version and what the changes are? Thanks again.

This is wonderful, thanks. Still on the look out for unmodified versions of Eudemons. I have the patches all mirrored now.

So from my understanding the original files never worked until loveomg fixed them in 2009. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] is the thread where it happened and the files that he fixed are the modified ones posted above that soulnecturne left for us as they were MIA for a very long time. In that thread there is a download for "eosource.rar" which I believe is the original broken source for just the client. The only other files I could find were in the conquer section under then name "demon project" which I believe includes the client and server sources. These appear to be the unmodified files but again from my understanding they are broken and have only ever been used for a better understanding of cq_action. I cannot find the thread again but I have uploaded the 7z file [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] that I downloaded sometime last year.

EDIT: So I found the thread and turns out you were the one who made it so I am sure you already had these files lol I re-read the loveomg thread and it doesn't look like they were ever able to find the alpha client download in 2009. I would guess that it is just totally gone from the internet at this point.

Ah! Yeah, that's something a little different than what I'm looking for. I was hoping someone might have the official, already built alpha client since it contains assets that can be used with Soul / Demon. I did manage to find it, but I'm not allowed to share it. So still hoping that someone with it can share it publicly for everyone to be able to use without restrictions.

For the second part of this thread though, I managed to download a ton of old English versions of the Eudemons client. Once I finish moving, then I'll try hosting some of the files.

Awesome, I look forward to any files you have to share. I don't mess with pservers much anymore but I do try to archive as much as I can. A bit off topic but would you happen to have any crazy tao clients? I have been looking for any old clients. 9029 is the oldest I've been able to find so I'm definitely interested in anything like that or even crazy tao adjacent tq games with similar style graphics such as crazy horde or happy pets.

What are you trying to learn from this files anyway?

Ooo, if you're willing to share Crazy Tao v9029, then I can get that archived with the rest. Right now, I only have v9055, v9073, and a v1000 (which I'm not certain what is yet). I still have a few clients I need to validate. I'll hopefully have a torrent or a few for client downloads after I'm set up with stable internet again (might be a few weeks for my home server).
