I can't give you a 1-10 scale, it is challenging since you need to learn about the offsets and they all change over time.

Just note that you have several "breakpoints" between the version you indicated you'd be starting at and your destination version.

Spirited's post above gives you an idea about these breakpoints and reference sources. The more reference points you have, the easier things will be. The higher you go, the less reference points you will find and will require you to perform more of the manual lookups yourself to see what a packet looks like.

Well, you're gonna need to handle SRP6 in the account server - either by using a hook to get around it or implementing it in full (which nobody seems to do). Once that's done, you'll need to upgrade the packets for logging in (as well as any other packets that have changed).
