is the HWID ban permanent?

Hi.

About a year ago I got HWID banned in RUST...
Are these bans permanent? does it disappear after a certain amount of time? if so does anyone know how long?

it’s worth a shot, I know sometimes just like getting a single new pc part will fix your ban or even just reinstalling windows would work.

I swapped 1 ram stick and it removed my hwid ban.

You can use a spoofer to pass it or replace your hdd/sdd.

No it does not. One of my machines has remained banned since 2015.

Yeah without changing your HWID, your PC will stay banned. Mine has been banned since years.

Yes its permanent. Fresh install, spoofer and vpn is best if you want to play again. Or wait and get a new pc

i was banned 2 years ago and was getting instantly banned on new accounts, but now i can play normally without a ban, i been playing for a week now.
i didnt change motherboard/ssd/hdd/ram nor i used any spoofer
i also installed a new router.

this is permanent, you need to use a permanent HWID spoofer to do the right thing and change your ip!

Always be spoofed when cheating, especially on rust they are strict with HWID bans as seen here.

Just use a free vpn, it work great, or wait for a commercial promotion you can get one for 1 year around 30€
