Damn Cabal long has it been. Played the official version a long time ago and it was hella fun. What would be the endgame content on such a private server? Pvp or more Pve focused?

Any server has it's own concept so..
It's mixed here, but ofcourse pvp in the end with good gears.

Was considering to come back to Cabal and Cabal private servers, saw this private server post which looked promising then I saw some major dealbreakers, red flags for me on their Discord server.

Lots of talk of camping/spawn camping from various members in the community.

Multiple staff members of this server have a big ego problem, very immature. Instead of being mature leaders of the community and leading by example, some (if not all? didn't bother to check each and every staff member but birds of a feather flock together as they say) of them will stoop down to the level of any random immature kid on the internet, doing things like making controversial inflammatory statements about some of their own community members to get under people's skin then using emojis like it's supposed to be funny. In another instance, a player had a complaint about some kind of issue going on with 'tg', and one of the staff members named Elenia posts a GIF/emoji of someone laughing then says it won't change. Doesn't provide any explanation, doesn't care to discuss the issue with the community, just immediately shuts them down, laughing at their complaint.

If immature, impulsive behavior like this from staff is going on in public there's no telling what other impulsive immature behavior is going on behind the scenes that players and the community may not be aware of. Not the kind of people I could ever trust in general.

And I also noticed a large amount of Discord members who have now left the server (no server specific profile information like server join date anymore, white name) which is another bad sign.

Just some major red flags I noticed which ultimately kept me from bothering to try this server, my first impressions which weren't good at all.

It might sound *Egoist* but I became like this after many years in cabal server managements. Listened to everybody and discuss everything, it just became worse and worse that lead server to die. It is impossible to listen everyone if you want to host a longterm server as everybody has different visions, interests and ideas. Have to think what the majority will like or not.

Following my own for about 4 months and it clearly revived again (still decent high amount of active players compared to other new/old servers)
However I do so; still about 90% of the recent changes were made from player's feedbacks/suggestions (anything is implemented as long as they make sense for the concept/gameplay of the server)

The conversations you saw probably nonsense feedbacks like ''nerf this class / X player hacker / etc..'' without any reasons. We do discuss and update as long as they are actual feedbacks with details which makes sense.


Thank you for feedbacks, wish you can find *better* server with *better* management which fits your interests.
