Spoofing input in MW2?

Does anyone know if there is a way to make the game think you are using controller when you are using KBM - changing the input icon in lobby to controller? This would be useful for controller only GBs, scrims, tournaments, etc.

Pretty sure you're looking for a XIM Apex..

Wait - I knew you could use XIMs to play on keyboard and mouse on PS4/older COD games that didn't have native controller MnK support - but you can make the game show a controller input while playing on MnK - on a PC - on COD?

Is there any input lag from the fact that the XIM is plugged in?

I'm gonna be deep diving into this lol, XIMs are like 200-300 USD nowadays which is ridiculous but I have a line on a cheap one and was gonna use it to play MnK on BO3/BO4 console

Xim user here. You can use it but you won't have the same functionality as keyboard and mouse basically you won't have any kbm functionality.. My best example would be Fortnite how you can go from keypad 1 through 5 to pick any gun without scrolling through to the gun you want, with a xim just cuz you have a keyboard plugged in does not mean you can do that it will function like a controller.

Edit: I don't know this any input delay.

Wait so what's the point of using it for what the OP wants it for then?

Can you use a XIM apex to trick COD into thinking you're input is controller, thus being able to play in controller only tournies/scrims etc - while still being on MnK and having full functionality - or no? Is that not possible?

You get aim assist which is nice especially if you're already decent with your mouse aim you'll be god tier. It will still register as a controller so you will not be able to do anything that a controller player cannot do. That's why I included the Fortnite example so for another example let's just say you wanted to mute your mic I forgot what f key it is you can't do that with the xim and it registering as am F key.

I was using it on MNK.
all you need is a MNK witcher or 2 mouse 2 keybord.
1 mouse 1 keybord to PC and other 1 in to ZEN

Yes you can play on Mouse Keybord as a controller. Just buy Cronus zen

or DM me fore more info& more question or for help for set up. it takes me 5 minutes to set up
but go get the cronus zen first

yes it does work with that and you dont have to plug in controller like xim apex does
