Help with Client Modification

01/22/2023 16:56 NosBreak#1
I have been developing a new system of "relics" which will be a new object that should be placed on the character as if it were an extra item, so I have to unlock 1 extra slot in my client, is there a way to do it? I'm pretty new to this client modification

Your developer doesn’t know how to do it considering he’s critical of all the other servers?

The reason why i am "critical" towards just one Server atm is because of the obvious p2w factor.

Even though i might be a Developer, i don't have the knowledge to do RE Stuff (considering that i don't know C++ that well, only took 1 course on it so far and wasn't really interested anymore).

Stop thinking that just because you are or !claim! to be a Developer, that all the knowledge just comes flying around your neck. It's not like that.

He is a developer, but outside the scope of server development, there is client development... they are two very different modalities, for one you require reverse engineering and for another programming knowledge...

You have in this post: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
A link to an SDK with the "trophy" you are talking about in.

I mean he's quite true, learning reverse engineering take years, nobody here will be able (and will want) to teach you.

The author is probably not wanting anything else than a copy/paste solution, as there's nothing else to do than read the documentation in the .zip I uploaded.
For those who wants to learn reverse engineering, there are actually a lot of resources on the internet. To name a few:

I think you misunderstood my message, I read the documents on each site of the .zip content, now I know how it works, the ClientModding.dll file that is generated should be renamed to EWSF so that it is injected, right? That was the error I had, I'm already looking at the sites you published to learn about reverse engineering, I'm quite interested, I don't like copy & paste in fact... I see it as a great nonsense... Thanks for the help. PS: The thread can be closed.
