Unlockers for the older CODs (MW19/CW/VG)

We all know unlockers are a big no no for MW2/current/new games as they are an easy way to get banned.

But for the older games, like MW19/CW/VG (I don't even think CW and VG has Ricochet - either server or client side - could be wrong, someone correct me if I am) do they even give a shit anymore?

TLDR:

Is it "safer" to use unlockers/camo tools on the older CODs?

Yea, they're not doing any purchase checks (or at least I doubt).
