Current assessment of the Rota Bots

Hey guys :) I wanted to give my experiences with most of the rotation addons

Currently it is unfortunately so that there is apart from HyperELK no reasonable rotations and even HyperELK has its weaknesses so do not misunderstand The rotations of which are good but the quality of life unfortunately leaves much to be desired I'm missing with Hyper just so much among other things a personal kick and stun list that you can edit and set and yes that is also possible with pixel bots see SimiaCore

And unfortunately it is so that there is currently no reasonable Lua Bots neither Awful, Project Madness or other what I somehow can not quite understand because WOW is still one of the most played MMO's ever

I started using Rotations since Legion and used SoapBox back then and they were just perfect but unfortunately they don't exist anymore or rather they became LuaBox and were supposed to become MegaMinion which probably won't happen now :/

I just mean it's a pity to see that the developers of current rotations do not give much effort in terms of their projects or you wait for updates and improvements for weeks and then they even charge money for it

As I said I have tested Awful I have tested Project Madness I have tested Hyper ELK I have tested SimiaCore and others and apart from HyperELK and SimiaCore you can kick everything in the garbage can and as above also with HyperELK I personally miss some things

And no guys this is not a whine but just my opinion about the current situation of the rotations

To all the Mac Roataions so Tinkr, Ravn etc. I can not say anything because I do not own a Mac or Hackintosh.

I agree with you for the most part. I'd argue that Simia has even less quality of life features though. Its really unfortunate.

You can make a kick list with Elk; you just have to make it via code. The reason Simia works differently is that it uses LUA, unlike ELK, which uses C#; the only real way to accomplish what you want would be either to make plugins possible with Elk and/or learn how to make your own rotations in c# and add your own kick lists.

You can't really complain and compare experiences with Lua unlockers to Pixel bots; there are going to be much fewer capabilities as Lua bots have far superior access to protected functions. Luabox, by the way, was an unlocker, the rotations offered by QT were just a bonus additive to the unlocker; those rotations are not even guaranteed if Minion even happens.

Your best bet is to make suggestions that you think will improve the products you use, if they make sense I'm sure those developers will add them, but not everything that you think is "QOL" is not necessarily QOL for others.

Outside of cost, what are the disadvantages to using Lua unlockers if I'm only using them for rotations? I haven't dipped my toes in them yet.

Well.

1. They use protected Functions that require hacking
2. Most Unlockers support farm bots which usually makes them targets

There are going to be more risks associated with unlockers due to the nature of how they work and what they're used for. Blizzard spends the majority of their resources on unlocker detection since they're accessing things it shouldn't be, and also host the bots that its community regularly complains about.

At the end of the day, if they just wanted to ban everything they could, but they seemed to be more focused on exploitive tools and anything associated with farm botting.

Awesome, thank you
