So i want to buy a cheat from a website using a credit card, is my credit card information safe on HTTPS Website? And tell me, why it is safe or why it is not safe.

Wouldnt say so. Data gets transfered encrypted, but pageowner has to decrypt the data to use it and therefore it can be stored.

come on dude. you realy want to give your credit card information some randome dudes in the internet? you have dozens of alternatives. go buy some giftcards in registred companies.

no Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure HTTPS and HTTP is Hypertext Transfer Protocol so its not secure

The transferred data is encrypted yes. There is still the possibility, that your credit card information can be used by the site owner. If the site itself has horrible security standards or its systems have vulnerabilities, your credit card information can be used by interns or hackers that enter the site's backend or database. Anyway, if the site is trustworthy, there shouldn't be a problem with using your credit card. On the other hand, if the website isn't trustworthy, then never give your banking or credit card credentials. If possible use crypto, paypal or gift cards.
