Firstly, I cannot take responsibility if you get banned, you try this at your own risk.
I have done this many times as a warlock, and never once had any trouble from GM's
Now, if you are not a mage, you need your hearthstone on cooldown, so set it somewhere near
deadmines if you like, and use it. You now have 60mins to do this and explore before you can come home. You will also need some kinda slowfall ability, so Mages and Priests are lucky, other classes need Noggenfoggers Elixir [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Anyway, head to the deadmines, and get into the instance proper. Once inside, stand right up against the instance portal without going through as shown...

Now, if you are a mage, you are lucky, just Blink past the portal. If not this is where Auto-unstuck
comes in. As you have just used your hearthstone, it will port you forward much the same way as blink. The range isnt as good, so it may take a few goes to get it right, but I can confirm this worked in patch 1.9.4, the 5min cooldown sucks though so you could be waiting for a while.
When you get past the portal without zoning, follow the path and to your left you will see a big scary looking hole...

Now you need your slowfall ability, so if your a priest or mage, your good to go, if not, start quaffing those Noggenfoggers. It may take a while to get the slow fall buff :p
Once buffed, just run straight forward and JUMP!! you will soon hit water, as soon as you do... stop and keep jumping to surface, do NOT try and swim anywhere, if you fall under the world you will die and have to spirit res. When you surface you will have your back to a cliff, turn left and follow the cliff...

you will eventually hit land....
