Depends, if your friend was using a detected cheat and managed to get sniped by VGK then no, you will be fine.
However, if it's manual and they see consistent play history with the cheater then yes, regardless of whether the person knew that cheats were being used.

I played with a friend and he got banned per 3 months but i think now its 4 or 6 months (i see someone talking about this)
if you play with many cheaters that get banned, you will get banned
if you play much games with the same people and he got ban, you will get banned
