Epic 3 skills information

I am helping a friend try to make a private epic 3 server ( i do not gather code). I was a beta tester and played epic 2-5. I remember alot from epic 3, but we are having issues figuring out the pet skills or stats to skills. I know at one point someone was working on a true epic 3 server. Once epic 4 hit it changed the pet system, then epic 5 changed it again to basically the cookie cutter nonsense we have now. DOes anyone have any info on the pet skills then? I remember overbreeding went from 40-60 for evo 1 and there was a special stat passive called survival instinct at lvl 60, then you evolved, but after that I am fuzzy as leveling pets was a mother in epic 3. Any info or a finger in the right direction would be much appreciated. :p

The only thing I could say is to try and reverse engineer them from the epic 3 client linked in the collection thread.

Use the client RDBs to try and rebuild the database tables

not sure if this helps you at all. I cant remember where this came from, i think it might have been prior to epic 3 as a possible direction of the game. Someone else here might recognize it all, even you hahah. I did notice that survival instinct skill for the pets though.

Thats great! I have kept that link for sooooo long. Mostly because i was so excited for the character classes to go in that direction. But, sadly, they didnt. I miss rapplez back in the epic 2 and epic 3 days.

yeh exactly. New rappelz since e5 is a copy pasta kill snorefest. When the combat is slower, its more meaningul and skills are actually useful. Plus the epic 3 pet skills were the most fun, most of all> Creature Life Leech/Creature critical burning;)

This has been a huge lpe btw. I wish they put some numbers for skills in there. the values of armors etc are in there, but not for skills. I remember sorcs stuff but nothing else lol. If you have any other epic 3 valuable info/screens/ or stuff let me know my dude. Right now the skills can be displayed, but they dont work. As well as the skill trees are not displayed like they are in later epics. Also looking for any screenshots of skill trees

Do you have any information on the original Altar rewards?

I cant find it on wayback. Also drops were so low on retail, i dont remember ever donating personally because any drop you got you needed.

altar was added in e5 or e6

In epic 3 the high pet was the angel.
Provoke was a skill click
The last dungeon I'm not sure but I think was pp
The poltry has aoe xd
The max enchant was +10?
The immorality don't hassle soaps
The top level was 110 or 100.

empty angels existed but they 100% not tameable. Palmir was not added until epic 4. I had a +14 weapon in epic 3. It was doable, but if you failed enchanting in epic 2 and 3 it halved your enchant so failing +9 would give you a +4 or 5 when you epro'd it.

In my favorite rappelz time (late epic3/epic 4) there was a legend from a guy who has a +14 sword on the server I was playing (Lydian). This was godlike at that time :handsdown: (like the handful people who had a tamed angel/kenta at epic 4).

I loved the time when you only get empty petcards from designated mobs. So I could hunt for empty angel/kenta cards an trade it for 90SS... :o

Was the shamanic warrior buff (orc) at epic 3 or 4 (or both)?

hes either from tortus or naga or from german servers.
