HWID Ban.

I am happy to say that after replacing parts in my PC, I am up and running again on MW2 through Battle.net. But the last permaban I got before I rebuilt my PC was when I tested the beta out on Steam to see if it would ban me there… obviously it did, seeing as I rebuilt. My question is, now that I am free of the HWID ban on a pretty much new PC, am I still safe to download Steam for my other games? Or will it pick up that I have a permaban on the Steam version of MW2 and end up HWID banning my new parts?

yeah, when I got done setting up the PC with new parts and new Windows key, I created a whole new Battle.net account to purchase MW2. I’ve been playing fine all day. I was just wondering if it was safe to download Steam because that’s where I buy my other games.

I probably went overkill, but pretty much everything. Lmfaooo… MOBO, CPU, RAM, SSD, GPU. Only thing that’s that same is my PSU, case, AIO, and case fans.
