SR_GameServer - Failed to Init Local Data

Hi guys, I am setting up a server for test purposes, I wonder if someone can help me with an error I'm getting on SR_GameServer.

"Failed to Init Local Data"

I've searched a lot on forums, people say it is bad files on Data folder, and recommended to extract the data from other clients, but I've done it already with another 2 different clients and the error remains.

I've also checked the db and compared to other 2 dbs I downloaded, but it seems ok, or maybe I'm just not looking at the correct tables.

I'm using 1.188 db and server files.

Would be really greatful if someone can help me out.

there are so many things that can throw this error
table links , data folder, maps , regions , navmesh ,
wrong references.
There are already some hints, about siege fortress instance

Without a debugger attached is really hard to tell which is the problem
you can start by attaching the gameserver to x32dbg and see what is throwing the error
would be easier to get a fully working database and server files

Damn. Yea unfortunately the GameServer doesn't give out much in-depth information about the errors it throws...

Will try out this debugger, although I don't have any knowledge about assembly, I just know "medium level" C# and SQL.

Nevertheless, thanks.

well looking at the Error Code , i will assume that you did not extract the "Data" files from the Data.pk2 and put them in the "Server" folder location ? thats how the gamemanager reads the files is through that Data folder or you did not setup the "ODBC" connection to let the gamemanger connect to the SQL . hope this helps

This is may be due to the data extraction from data.pk2 , you should try a debugger to determine the issue or simply reset the whole data folder and re-extract it to the Server's folder
