hello.

I am trying to create maps, for now I only know how to edit the dds, but I would like to create new maps, I have seen tools but some do not currently work and others the links are down, if someone had a tool to create or view maps it would help me a lot

You won't find anyone willing to share/sell a map editor with you. Only a couple people have that technology and they're not going to share it with anyone. Your best option is going to be make your own.

thanks for your answer, that's the problem friend I don't know where to start to create the maps I don't know how to read the pul files, if there was a guide to print reading such files in c++, C# or another language it would be greatly appreciated, many thanks for your attention

Good news... that's why I open-sourced all the research I did on them [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and created two fast and dirty projects decoding them [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (floor editor) and [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (portal editor). They both technically fit your description of "another language". If I had time, you better believe there'd be a publicly available map editor.

That page links to all files a dmap references, including pul files.
