Thoughts about epic games adding Hyperion Byfron

Another type of 2018 move by epic games (EAC Purchase) :confused:
So today epic games released Hyperion ByFron anti cheat and this is what i don't understand, 4 anti cheats in a single game? (BE, EAC, UAC, ByFron)

What is epic games point to implement this on their game? What a waste of money.
Anyways.

For devs reading this:

You think this will decrease some EAC/UAC Habilities due the huge amount of ACs applied in the game? ( Didn't mention BE for obvious reasons lmao).

Guarded regions will be a problem for fortnite at all?

BYFRON is nothing but just a barrier, they provide capabilities to mutate/virtualize code, as well as pack the game binary by encrypting it, as well as including some goodies such as virtual machine detections. Their import hooks is something to think about though, it doesn't do much at the moment, however it might change in the near future.
