Anybody working on private servers?

Just wondering if anybody is working on a private server for Lost Ark?

Wrong forum. On the other one people are much deeper into game code.

We're still on a very early stage as of this moment. There is no assurance still.

But if there will be few people who will pledge to help and support us. It will be possible I guess.

And what will keep the Players on the Private Server? Your Example most likely will lead to everyone getting bored after 1 week or 2. I am observing this from Private Server Operator Point of view. The time to make a Private Server work and the costs to run a Private Server with good Performance specially for Lost Ark just wont make the deal.

But thats just my Point of View.

I am also kind of comparing Lost Ark Private Servers to Metin2 Private Servers which definitely are profitable and unique

of course private server is 100x better than official. You can enjoy official contents without the severe bottlenecking in official server. Also, in private server donation is to strictly support the developers. Where as real money spend on official server wont get you fck all. In official server if you don't log everyday you will be severely behind, its not a game anymore, but feels like a job. With private server you can play whenever and not worry about not catching up. The benefits are endless.

Downside, private servers can close any time. But the amount of enjoyment you get pretty much pays for that uncertainty. What's there not to like ???

it can be potentially better, there have been plenty of greedy WoW private server and MU online devs though when done right, I would say Ive had more enjoyment from private servers than official
