Cosmetics discussion

Hi all,

Anyone has an idea of what needs to be hooked in client to make the cosmetic change. I mean what am I looking exactly for to change the look of the item in the hand but not in status.

I have tried looking for the mesh itself using cheat engine but no luck.

Version 5165

I have seen servers like Origins do it but I am not sure what do they do in this case exactly.

You must not know what you're talking about either.

I have tried changing the ids of the items through cheat engine and then tracing which function in the memory writes these changes so that I can start investigating around that part. But there is something apart from the item ids. You can try it yourself, you might be in luck of finding something I didnt.

its not the end of it copy paste item for cosm as u did for lvl 130 only not the best soulation we all still trying so target not achived yet

I'm not sure I'm following, but you can find a really good description of identifiers and how files link together for items here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. I've personally never done anything with items, so I wouldn't be able to tell you. All of my focus has been on server design and maps.
