How to play legit again after a ban?

Hello guys, I need your precious help.

I've been permanently banned 3 days ago for using overwolf app. I tried to appeal on the activision support website, but they closed my case telling me I was using unauthorized softare.

I've never cheated, and I don't want to. I just want to play legit again with a new account.

I made a new one, and after two games I realized I couldn't find lobbies anymore (matchmaking goes up to 300ms ping forever).

I opened a ticket support and they told me that this account is being checked by the support team, and if they don't find any cheats I could go back in matchmaking.

Will I be able to play again? Will my shadowban expire?

Or is there an other way to play again legit?

I'm desperate. :(

Hey man, after the shadow ban (review) clears, you should be able to play again fine without issues. Usually takes about 7 days.

Are you sure? Even if i'm playin from the same PC where I got the perma ban?

Yup. The shadow ban will expire and as long as you don't use cheats again, your account will be fine.

Is that still a thing with Overwolf? I remember, I got just a warning Message back in 2020 at Launch that I run unauthorized software named Overwolf. I was fine after closing it and I was not even able to run the game with it installed.

I don't really know...Imho it's totally unfair, because that app is not actually cheating.

Anyway I won't use it from now on.
