just a theory but maybe this has something to do with the invisible luck statistic that people have been talking about. Maybe after you have killed a certain number of mobs your luck stat is higher therefore a bigger chance of soc.

for me i usually only hunt for around 2-3hours at BI and that doesnt generate 10k plus kills usually due to ksing archers (grrrrr pet hate)

I will try this theory out tomoro hopefully and go to apes or soemthing kill a sh*t load get to exactly 10k kills the try to up my boots

Damn i could do with a few more socs, i feel like i'm falling behind.

next time you talk about 2 sock gear please add screenshots cuz only few people will believe that

sorry i dont believe this is true, your are just in a lucky phase. You would have got the sockets if you had spammed for them whether you killed 10 or a million mobs. I have gotten all my sockets with ZERO kills, sometimes its in <10 mets sometimes i have a dry period of 500+ mets. Generally as a rule of thumb dont try and make more than 3 socks per maint ( I dont know of any1 getting 4+ all people i have spoken to can onl amke 3 then they fail loads ) I am 98% sure there is a hidden luck factor which is randomly set at maint (Before any1 argues answer why 2nd reborn has a LUCK BOOST!)

I would like to ask though, has any1 got a sock on a normal item then immediately DBed it to ELITE, and did you do it in 3 DBs, if the answer if yes did you get a second socket on the 3rd DB? I got told you will i wanna know if its true, whenever I try to up from normal - elite it always takes 4 dbs.....

I won the lottery 7 times over the last week, each one I won 22million.

Seriosly...all I did was use the same numbers everyday, and had to walk backwards from my house to the lotto shop balancing 50 litres of water on my head while clapping and saying "Peanut Butter" repeatidly. I swear it worked in my country I dunno about yours....

7 Sockets in 7 days is easily possible, a guy in 1 server made 7 single and 1 dbl in 4 days

how do u know if u had killed 10k monster or 15k monsters???

Im not sure this can be as farfetched as everyone thinks,I think that your "luck" value may increase with the number of kills you have gotten since you logged in but only slightly..ill go kill a ton of mobs and see if i can get any better luck on upgrades in twin later,at school now >:o

options menu turn on KO counter and it will tell you how many in the bottom right side of the screen.

Anyone else try this method yet? I tried with 10k, 10k+, and 1 million. Only used 10 mets though.
