Have I been scammed?

Hello, I have recently paid a dev to make me a Rust cheat that includes ESP and some recoil features, this is really basic stuff.
I have found this dev from this forum, he still has not blocked me, and he is still replying to my messages.
The only thing left for him to do is “EAC Bypass” or some sort of “Driver”, I am no expert. But how long should this type of “Bypass / Driver” is needed to be made?
He said 1 - 2 Weeks, and now after a week has passed, he said 2 weeks again.
Is this too long? Or is this a normal amount of time to create such Bypass?
Thanks for the answers.

Does he have a history of successful jobs completed here?
If not, you most likely got scammed.

Nope, no history.
I’m confused because, he already has the money. Why wouldn’t he just block me?
He keeps chatting, responding and talking.

Does it actually take 3 weeks to create a driver?

He might just be stalling, or he might hit you with the "this is more difficult than we talked about, I'm going to need 'X' amount of more money."

It could be done in 3 days or 3 weeks or 3 months... the timeline depends on the skill of the developer.

It's always best in these types of situations to agree upon a specific date, so that if the timeline isn't met, you can request he return your money.

don't even bother hiring "developers" for eac/be, you won't get anything unique

Well you cant put a time frame on making a driver as you can run into all sorts of issues. Generally I would say between 2-3 weeks is an average time. But as 0x41 stated it depends on the skill of the developer.

You probably did get scammed, but fingers crossed you didn't.

Another thing to mention is, if you're hiring a developer do it from someone with a portfolio. Someone with rep, and you need to be given proof etc beforehand to prove this person has the knowledge and skills he claims.

Hope this helps. :)

I mean bypass is the hardest, not the cheat itself.

You got scammed man.

The fact he took your money and didn't already have a driver good to go clearly shows he has no idea what he's doing.

I would never agree to make someone a cheat if I wasn't sure I could already handle the Anticheat 100%.

Likely just hasn't blocked you to keep stringing you along.

This situation screams BS to me.

Making bypasses take a long time and there are many methods. I would just wait it out. Did you pay them already? Usually best to do like 50% up front and then another 25% when done and another 25% when safe for a few weeks. Be smart about these things.

Paid everything up-front, trusted the guy. Never doing that again.

Me and him are still chatting, he said he wouldn't scam me to my face but if I am being honest, I simply don't care what happens anymore. I'd really like to take my money back or get the cheat. But if none of that happens I cant really do much about it. I'll report his account to EPVP and that's it.

reporting to epvp does nothing....... they make new accounts..... just ask for your money back...... live and learn...
