There have been rumours of switching Anti-Cheat for EFT with Easy Anti-Cheat. Does anyone know about this? How would this affect spoofing and cheats currently?

I haven't seen much about it recently, so I don't know how true it is. It would obviously affect cheats as they would have to recode for EAC instead of BE, and some spoofers may need to spoof more serials than they do, depending if they have two different modes for the separate ACs.
I recall seeing this rumor some time back, but if they haven't done it yet then imo they won't do it now or anytime soon

If they would do this then sure the most cheats need a new bypass etc but for the most spoofers out there it shouldnt be a big problem.

It would require a whole transfer, download an update of servers etc. Something that BSG just can't do at the moment

Just rumors in my opinion. Also I don't think EAC is a better fit for EFT.
Their man-hours would be spent more wisely on switching to IL2CPP.
