Why the admin of Cyperia (Metin2 p-server) got caught?

So there is a german article on the internet, about the Metin2 p-server Cyperia and I read it, but there is some things that I don't understand.

(use google translator if you aren't german, cause the post is in german)

1. How come, that they caught him? Did he write his real name etc in the domain, when he bought it for the p-server?

2. I found out more about the guy who hosted the server and it looks like he is ID verified on epvp (??? Wtf, why would you ID verify yourself, while you host your own p-server?)

3. I am not sure, but I remember they had a real impressum or something like that in the past.

another funfact: Slait (a metin2 bot developer) had an impressum too, so maybe it's one reason he got caught too?

4. I read that the police raided the house from the Cyperia owner and took his 110.000 money and other stuff.
Why didn't he defend himself?
If I was him I would do it, because my stuff is very important to me and I wouldn't let anyone take it.

5. So I informed myself more about these things and the admin from Cyperia who got caught, started to work for Gameforge later, but not for much money, why?

What do you think about it?

I mean there is a lot other shady people, but somehow they never get caught. So be careful what you write about yourself on the internet.

By now only close friends of me know how I look like and noone knows my name, since I always had multiple names on the internet. :)

Really?

defend yourself against the police ? - How ?

I know from experience, if you are not ready to bring out guns and hide deep in another continent, dont do it.
it will only harm you in the long run.
If the Police is already raiding you , you basically have already lost.

and dont even try to think that you could defend your stuff.
you'll get knocked down faster than you'd like.
so either you follow the orders , or you will have physical consequences which you would not like to have.

In the end , now that Gameforge is not getting as much money from Metin2 nowadays , due to their own incompetence, they are really hunting down everyone that makes profits behind their back.

M2Bob, Pservers, i bet we will soon have a message about yang sellers as well.

All I'm saying is,
if you don't know how to defend yourself then leave it alone.
Doesn't mean that nobody can defend themselves and I won't go into specific details.
And how long did they need to catch m2bob? More than 10 years for sure.
And the p-server owner who got caught, it's his own fault, because he never was careful with his reallife data.
Like, why would you have an impressum and ID verify yourself when you own a big p-server (???) this makes no sense yeah, but this guy did it for some reason.
I saw tons of yang sellers, even new m2bob sellers and tons of p-servers, and some are really big and do they get caught? No, ofc. Maybe in 30+ years, because gameforge is known for having a bad reputation and they can't do much anyway, unless they are facing stupid people.
