[Release] New Forge of Empires - Bot (online)

This is a brand new bot for Forge of Empires that runs completely online (no installation needed).

You are right, the password is stored on this bot, otherwise the bot would not be able to sign in automatically. You can create a new FoE account and try it with this one.

Seems legit. No gvg or gbg features?

At the moment gvg or gbg is not supported yet…

So all bots run on the same IP? Isn't the risk of being banned greater? Or did you reserve your own IP per/user? @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]: You're making a good point with the IP, but there's actually an easy solution to it. Each user gets a proxy server assigned so each one has a unique IP address. I buy the proxy servers from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and finance them over the subscription fee.

Btw: I'm working on the username & password login since I understand that it's maybe a little scary to sign in with google :) I'll keep you posted when the feature is live.

Does this bt create goodstrade for porple people to grab, instead of doing it manualy?

The bot is and was and I just released a new version.

Release Notes:

• You can configure Research Bot to automatically complete (buy) a technology when no more Forge Points can be spent. To activate this feature activate the checkbox on the Research tab.
• Bugfix: When the app was installed on the Homescreen it didn't automatically update. Now a notification is shown when a new update is available. When you have already installed the webapp you have to uninstall it and add it again to the Homescreen on iOS/Android. This is only a one time action, in the future available updates will be shown automatically.

Whats coming next:
A lot of people asked me to implement a trade/market bot so thats what I'm currently working on.

No currently automatic good trading is not supported but I'm working on it. I hope to release it next weekend.

• Added the Market Bot

How does the Market Bot work?

• It creates offers for the boosted goods on the market in return of non boosted goods within the same era.
• The created offers have a ratio of 1:1.
• The bot creates as many offers with the given amount until all resources are on the same level. This means if all offers are filled all the goods within the same era have roughly on the same amount.
• The bot does not accept other offers on the market.

Example (Bronze Age):
Lets say you have the following goods:

• Wine (Boosted) 600
• Dye 100
• Alabaster (Boosted) 600
• Cypress 100
• Sandstone 100

and you configured the bot to create trades with an amount of 100 then the following trades are created:

• 1x 100 wine for 100 dye
• 1x 100 wine for 100 Cypress
• 1x 100 wine for 100 Sandstone
• 1x 100 Alabaster for 100 dye
• 1x 100 Alabaster for 100 Cypress
• 1x 100 Alabaster for 100 Sandstone

When all trades are executed you'll end up with 300 per resource. Obviously this is a very simple example to illustrate how the algorithm works.

Whats coming next:
Currently you can only start or stop the bot. It can happen that you forget to start the bot again. I'm working on a feature that allows you to stop the bot for a certain time e. g. 15 or 60 minutes so that it automatically starts again after this time.

There has been a downtime due to a change introduced by version 1.234 of Forge of Empires. The issue is resolved and the bot is running fine again.
