Mem Address Problem

hi,
I am having this problem,when i find the memory address for my server name, Example : I find the memory address for Pisces,then when i add it to my bot and login to that server and hook my char with the bot,it shows me numbers in the server name box instead of Pisces,I even tried it with the base address pointer but still no use,can any one help me,if any helps me +K,

I'm not sure but it could be that they are the ASCII hex codes, just convert them to strings.

how to convert em to strings,could ya explain with some pics -.-

i was referring to the code your using to read the memory so then we would maybe know whats wrong!!!!!!!

I dont understand how you have managed to get so far (hooking your char etc) when you arnt able to convert things into strings...

HAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAH , korvacs -.- i dont do memory and stuff am new to it,and cheat engine,how i got so far... hiyoal helped meh!!

or
new string((sbyte*)(Ptr to Memory),StartPos,Length);

As trash said, it would be easier if you posted the code your using.

He's using the term 'hooking' incorrectly, he's actually doing some autoit scripts.

I see, you should PM Hiyoal directly, because i dont think anyone else here has much idea about AutoIt, especially when it comes to reading from memory. I didnt think AutoIt, could do much more than just click on things. :rolleyes:

unfortunately hiyoal is kinda busy these days,so PM'ing him is of no use,or hes just ignoring xD,and if auto it is that bad maybe i should change my coding language -.-
