summoners pets hack

would i be possible to summon a Musfel instead of a tentator at low lvl? Even if it is to show off :D

I was looking around in the cvs files, i copied the content of the Musfel file into the tentator file and kept the same file name. But that doesn't work, it still smmons the tentator.

If I'm correct this is something server based with the skills.

It should be the same process just it's done in the pets data file not monsters.
Though im pretty sure the actual summon is serverside, so it will probably only look like a musfel and only you will be able to see it.

I don't think that is possible. you would have to somehow change which monster the skill summoned, and that stuff is server-sided, as far as I know.

@Syber, what you're talking about would only change it on your side, everybody else would still see Tentator, and it would still act like a Tent.

you can change it but what the point if it only visible only to your computer.

yeah the point is that others can see it, but if it is severs related. But there is a post here of someone who spawn a wooded box, isn't that then the same principle?

i'm just making wild guesses, but you don't actually change the skill, just replace it. Let say you use the skill "blood bats", you press it, but i does "blade spin". Wouldn't that just be a case of change the content of the file/command you send to the server?

You need packet sniffing for that, and this isn't easy to do.
All the info related to this is hosted in the server, so altering your client won't do much, at best you can make tentator look like Musfel, but with same atk power and hp and all.
So you are some part right about changing the content of the file to send to the server, but you must edit the packet.

hmm i don't have the skills or tools for packet sniffing :(

oh well i'll just play with my seggy for now
