I used a lagswitch about a year back and it worked really good. I could stand behind a corner, lag and peek to kill someone instantly. But now when i use it i cant peek a corner as i used to be able to do and i dont get that "speedy" look to other players.
Does lagswitch still work?

Not like it used to sadly...
You can't stop outgoing packets anymore to "teleport" because that's since been patched, but it's still possible to block incoming packets to make enemies appear frozen like they were back then, just everyone else will still see you moving around as normal, you'd need a special application to do that though unlike firewall lag switches we had before.
Can probs find some here but won't be free.
