Just want to clarify what to do.

In the event that someone purchases a cis/ru account.

To do so in the first place, need a vpn (vepr or pia) Set the vpn to appropriate cis/ru point of connection.
If connected to the correct region, bsg website will display prices in region specific currency and at the bottom of the editions page, show what region you are currently in.
Connect to Ukraine - bsg shows roubles
Connect to USA - bsg shows dollars

Complete your registration. complete the purchase.
Download the installer/launcher.
Login in with new account credentials on the bsg launcher.
Download the game.

At this point can the vpn be terminated?
If its set to auto select the servers, after the vpn is shut off will it automatically shift to the closest servers?

Once you've signed into the loader and selected "Remember me" you can disconnect the VPN and install the game. It will download quicker this way.
